Our mission is to restore the integrity of individuals, spouses, and families that have been affected by pornography and pornography addiction. Integrity Restored provides education, encouragement, and resources to, break free from pornography, heal relationships, and to assist parents in preventing and responding to pornography exposure which is so devastating in the lives of our children. We also hope to be a resource that assists clergy in assisting families at the parish level, so that the domestic church truly becomes what it is, the human space in which we encounter Christ.

This is so helpful. Your treatment of the problem is so much more thoughtful than the usual. Our family definitely need to work on silence, especially as kids are getting older and start having expectations based on what their friends and everyone else is going.

Totally on point! A common sense, (or maybe I should say, uncommon sense) approach to the spiritual growth, s well as the spiritual protection of God’s amazing gift, the family!

Can’t possibly agree more with everything that was very well stated here. Parenting today is not easy, we must be so very prudent, considering all that our children are exposed to on tv, internet, cell phones, you name it. Speaking from our own experience as parents, we have seen tremendous fruit from simply cancelling our cable tv over four years ago during Lent, and as suggested in this beautiful article, we’ve since been subscribed to Coveanant Eyes on all our devices at home. We’ve also simplified tremendously in regards to extra activities our children participate in, and this in turn has opened up so much more time for our family to spend quality and quiet time together, centered in Christ. It’s not easy, and takes commitment day to day, but this all CAN be achieved through prayer and the grace of God! This article is SO relevant AND needs to be shared! VERY sound advice and counsel! Thank you Megan Murphy, God bless you always!

Great article. Some people tend to focus primarily on preventative measures, such as software filtering, and not really consider the root of the problem, a yearning for intimacy. This is an issue, that if handled early and correctly, can have a positive outcome for the family.

Nice, indeed. Silence, prayer…peace rather than shouting.
